In Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, upgrades (or cheats) were implemented and can be purchased from the Animus Interface Menu. These upgrades vary in amounts and worth and points can be earned from collecting Templar Coins from each of the cities. The last three upgrades you can only received by connecting Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines with Assassin's Creed II on the Playstation 3, they do not appear in the upgrade screen.
Automatic Block

How to Unlock
Automatic Block can be bought for 50 points.
Effect
As the upgrade description says, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad automatically blocks any targets attacks.
Note
While this upgrade is helpful, it is frequently glitched and does not work properly.
Critical Hits

How to Unlock
Each tier can be purchased for 75 points.
Effect
Each tear increases the possibility for a critical hit by 5%.
Note
This upgrade has 3 tiers, increasing chance to critical hit to a maximum of 15%.
Hide Speed

How to Unlock
This upgrade can be purchased for 50 points.
Effect
This upgrade increases the speed of returning to anonymous when in a hiding spot.
Synchronization Rate

How to Unlock
This upgrade can be purchased for 200 points.
Effect
This upgrade increases the speed that the Animus re-synchronizes Altaïr.
Synchronization Strength

How to Unlock
The first tier can be purchased for 25 points, every following tier costs 25 points more than the previous one.
Effect
This upgrade provides extra Synchronization bars to Altaïr.
Note
This upgrade has 5 tiers, providing a maximum of 10 synchronization bars.
Throwing Knife Maximum

How to Unlock
Each tier can be purchased for 100 points.
Effect
This upgrade increases the number of throwing knives Altaïr can carry to a maximum of 5.
Note
This upgrade has 2 separate tiers.
Upgrade Weapon Attack Damage

How to Unlock
The first tier can be purchased for 200 points, every following tier costs 50 points more than the previous one.
Effect
This upgrade increases the damage of Altaïr's weapons when the target is bleeding, resulting in an often more swift kill.

This upgrade has 3 separate tiers. This upgrade is useful when assassinating Armand Bouchart in the Templar Archive.
Hidden Blade Armor Codex (PS3 exclusive)
How to Unlock
This bonus is received after collecting the 13th codex page.
Effect
This upgrade allows you to counter with the Hidden Blade, making it a much more useful item in combat.
