Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service? This article is in desperate need of a revamp. Please improve it in any way necessary in order for it to achieve a higher standard of quality in accordance with our Manual of Style. |
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, released in 2009, was the first Assassin's Creed game to feature cheats, called upgrades. They can be purchased from the Animus Interface Menu and vary in amounts and worth. Points can be earned from collecting Templar Coins from the cities. Upgrades are purchased from a menu in the Animus Interface.
Auto-Block
This is a good upgrade, but often glitched as it doesn't work. It can be bought for 50 points. It is also self-explanatory.
Extra throwing knives
This upgrade, as it says, increases the number of throwing knives Altaïr can use, though his total carried knives don't change. This upgrade has 3 tiers.
Extra Synchronization bars
This upgrade provides extra sync bars to Altair. This upgrade has 4 tiers, providing a maximum of 9 synchronization bars.
Faster Re-Synchronization speed
This upgrade, for 50 points, increases the speed the Animus re-syncs Altaïr.
Faster hide speed
This upgrade increases the speed of returning to anonymous when hiding in a hiding spot.
Altaïr's weapons do more damage
This 3 tier upgrade increases the damage of Altaïr's weapons when you make the enemies bleed, resulting in an often more swift kill. This upgrade is great for when it comes to killing Armand Bouchart in the Archive.
Trivia
- Some of the upgrades are not as they seem, such as the damage upgrade working only if you land an unblocked hit on your enemies.
- There are three special upgrades if you synchronize Bloodlines with Assassin's Creed II for the Playstation 3. They are "Extra Synchronization Bars", "Counter with Hidden Blade", and "Hidden Pistol" that shoots throwing knives.
