Zagarolo is a town in Italy, east of Rome.

In 1504, after the death of Rodrigo Borgia and the imprisonment of his son Cesare, Micheletto Corella set up camp in an old gladiatorial school in Zagarolo with two hundred fifty Borgia loyalists. However, the Assassins, led by Ezio Auditore, Niccolò Machiavelli, and La Volpe, mustered a force of one hundred thieves and apprentices to break the Borgia-resistance permanently and imprison Micheletto.[1]
