William M. was an employee of Abstergo Industries.^[1] In 2012 he evaluated the tapes of Desmond Miles' Animus sessions intentionally left at the Assassin hideout in Rome by Lucy Stillman, and reminded Lucy to not let her friendship with Desmond jeopardize their goals via e-mail.^[2]^[1]
