Sir William Jenner, 1st Baronet (1815 – 1898) was an English physician, most well known for discovering the difference between typhus and typhoid.
Biography
In April 1865, William Jenner tended to Belgium's king Leopold I on the instruction of his niece, the English queen Victoria. When Jenner wrote to Victoria after Leopold refused to heed his advice on upkeeping his nourishment, the monarch sent her uncle a letter begging him to listen to the doctor.[1]
