In many time periods, Assassins and Templars would whistle to attract enemies in order to assassinate them.
The mercenary Kassandra[1], the Assassins Edward Kenway[2] and Ratonhnhaké:ton and Templars Haytham Kenway[3] and Shay Cormac[4] whistled using their mouths from haystacks, bushes, corners, and other hiding spots. Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye[5] could whistle anywhere using a whistle tool.
At times, whistling could also summon a horse to ride.
