During the 18th century and onward, Assassins and Templars would whistle to attract enemies in order to assassinate them.

The Assassins Edward Kenway and Ratonhnhaké:ton and Templars Haytham Kenway and Shay Cormac whistled using their mouths from haystacks, bushes, corners, and other hiding spots. Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye could whistle anywhere using a whistle tool.
