History
In 1778, Benjamin Church, a traitor to the Continental Army and the Templar Order, fled to Martinique on the Welcome with supplies he had stolen from the Continental Army at Valley Forge.
Learning of Church's voyage, Ratonhnhaké:ton and his father Haytham Kenway – whose objectives temporarily aligned – pursued Church from aboard the Aquila. They soon found the Welcome adrift, and surmised that Church had transferred ships. After catching up, demasting that ship and interrogating Church, the pair learned that the Continental Army's supplies had been stored on the island, where they awaited pick-up.
