The War Machines were four mechanical devices designed by Leonardo da Vinci for the Borgia forces during the early 16th century. Ezio has to destroy these machines in order to set back the Borgia. They feature in four exotic missions for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and include the Chariot machine gun, the Bomber, the Naval Cannon and the Tank. All these machines were commandeered and destroyed by the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze to sabotage the Borgia's control over Rome.

Trivia

  • When Ezio first arrives in Rome, a herald can be heard announcing the exhibition of "Maestro da Vinci's war machines" to the crowd.
