Asia is the largest continent and most populous continent on Earth. It is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the east by the Pacific Ocean, to the south by the Indian Ocean and to the west by Europe and Africa.
The major countries of Iran, India,[1] China and Japan are located in Asia.[2]
