Prince Victor of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1833 – 1891) was an officer in the Royal Navy and the half-cousin to Edward VII.
Biography
On 22 May 1867, Queen Victoria wrote to Edward, informing him that she would be naming Victor Constable of the Round to Tower instead of his brother Alfred as was originally planned, asking Edward to be the one telling Victor of this and saying that she "thought he ought now to be very prudent and not to embark in any speculation".[1]
