Loot and Artifacts
Overview and Solutions
The ruins are small, and contain a high point, one carbon ingot, the Harpoon Impalement ability, and the Hrafn Guard Shield. In addition, there are two artifacts here as well.
Carbon Ingot
The carbon ingot is found in some ruins in the North-Western of the area. To access it, you must go to the top of the ruins, and shoot the latch holding the hanging brick pallets to access the inner room. Move the shelf out of the way, and claim your reward.
Harpoon Impalement Ability
To enter the chambers containing the book, go to the Secret Entrance Marker on the western side of the ruins. Descend the ladder, and go further until you reach a room where you can see the book through some bars. There is a destructible wall nearby, go through and swim to the nearby ledge. Climb up and shoot the explosive pot at the far end of the hallway to unlock the book chamber and the ability.
Hrafn Guard
The Hrafn Guard shield is found within a barred building. To access this building, go on its roof, and walk on the rope over to the nearby archer’s nest. From there, zip line on to another nest to find a note. This note inadvertently tells you the solution, by informing you that the wood blocking the door is rotted and can be shot through the opening in the back of the building. Shoot the wood through the hole, and kill the two bandits inside. Once that’s finished, the chest is behind a fake wall on the upper platform.
Roman Artifact
The Roman artifact can be found on top of an archway, guarded by a Goliath. You must climb two ladders to reach the top, one must have it’s latch shot to fall down. Once up there, kill the men guarding it and walk to the far side to find it lying on some sacks.
Ledecestrescire Hoard Map
The entrance to this artifact is marked by a Secret Entrance. Once you enter, take a right and destroy the pots blocking further travel. Slide through a small hole in the wall and directly in front of you is the treasure map on a tomb.
