The Veins of the Grape Vine were bracers which were part of a set of armor inspired by and dedicated to the Greek god of wine Dionysos and his cult. Made of finely wrought metal combined with leather dyed purple, the bracers wrapped around their wearer's arms like the titular vines.
The bracers were made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
