The Vanguard (real name: Oksana Razin) is a multiplayer character for the game Assassin's Creed: Revelations. She use a small hatchet as her primary weapon.

Unique Moves

Hatchet Strike (Low Profile, Front)

The Vanguard pulls out her hatchet and slices it into her targets waist, knocking her victim to the ground, and then quickly slices her hatchet into her victims ribcage, thus killing them.

Cut Down to Size (Low Profile, Back)

The Vanguard pulls out her hatchet and embeds it into her target's ribcage, before removing her weapon and striking down in between their shoulder blades, driving her victim to their knees.

(High Profile, Front)

The Vanguard runs up to her target as she swings her axe into the victim's head. The victim kneels as she kicks their head up with her knee, freeing the axehead. As their head flies back, she then takes a twirl as she slits the axe against the victim's throat.

Springing Strike (High Profile, Back)

As the Vanguard runs behind her target, she uses her legs to spring herself up into the air and in front of the target. While in mid-air, she embeds the hatchet into the victim's ribcage violently. She then slices the axe deeply more into their chest, before she pulls it out.

(Bench Kill)

The Vanguard grabs her seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before her victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Vanguard forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking her target's neck on the bench behind them.

(Aerial Kill)

The Vanguard jumps from the building as she pounces on her target, smashing the axe into their head, thus killing her target as she gets up and hastily yanks it out.

Trivia

• In the Revelations multiplayer beta on PlayStation, the Vanguard shares the same kill animations as the Champion as they do have similar weapons.
