Umar Ibn-La'Ahad (Arabic: عمرإبن لا أحد, died 1176) was a member of the Assassin Order and the father of the legendary Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.
In 1176, the forces of Saladin laid siege to Masyaf. Umar, a Master Assassin, was tasked with infiltrating Saladin's tent and leaving a message there after the tent's location was revealed by the spy Ahmad Sofian. Successfully managing to infiltrate the tent and leave the message, Umar was just about to leave when he was discovered by Saladin, forcing the Assassin to flee and killing a Saracen nobleman in the process. When the Saracens came to make peace over the siege, they demanded that Umar's life be taken in payment of the Saracen nobleman he had killed. However if the Assassins were to refuse, the Saracens would execute Ahmad, who had been recently exposed and continue their siege on the city.
After a lot of deliberating and failed attempts to negotiate the terms with Saladin, Al Mualim, then-Grand Master of the Order had no choice but to have Umar take Ahmad's place and gave up the Assassin for execution. Moments before he was executed however, Umar heared the voice of his son crying out for him from the top of the fortress.
