Ukita Naoie (宇喜多 直家; 1529 – February 1, 1582) was a Japanese daimyō of the Sengoku period.[1]

In 1582, Ukita Naoie was invited to attend a rengakai (連歌会) held by Kuroda Yoshitaka at his castle in Himeji.[2] He was later assassinated by the Japanese Assassin Fujibayashi Naoe and the Samurai Yasuke within the castle’s tenshu.[3]
