The Artemis' Bane was a sword dedicated to Artemis, the goddess of the hunt in Greek mythology.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra obtained the sword after recovering gear which allowed her to infiltrate the Daughters of Artemis.[1]
