The Tomb of the First Pythia was a tomb located northwest of Delphi in Phokis, Greece. It served as the resting place of Phemonoe, the first Oracle of Delphi in Greek tradition. Outside of the tomb, a small shrine stood.
During the Peloponnesian War, the tomb was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who found and deciphered an ancient stele within the depths of the tomb.[1]
