Artaxerxes III Ochus of Persia (c. 425 BCE – 338 BCE) was the 11th king of the Achaemenid Empire, king of Babylon and the founder of the Thirty-first dynasty of Egypt. He was the great-grandson of Artaxerxes I.
In 343 BCE, Artaxerxes, along with his commanders Bagoas and Mentor of Rhodes led an invasion of Egypt from the city of Pelusium.[1]
