Toffana was an employee of the Borgia family during the liberation of Rome, and a servant to Lucrezia in particular.
When the Assassin Ezio Auditore infiltrated the Castel Sant'Angelo for the second time, he overheard a conversation between Lucrezia and a guard. Lucrezia asked him where her batch of Cantarella was, and told him Toffana should have delivered it. The guard then revealed to her that her father, Rodrigo, had taken the Cantarella for himself.
