Toffana was an employee of the Borgia during the liberation of Rome, and a servant to Lucreziain particular. Lucrezia would have her do simple tasks, such as deliveries. When the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze infiltrated the Castel Sant'Angelo for the second time, he overheard a conversation between Lucrezia and a guard. Lucrezia asked him where her batch of Cantarella was, and told him Toffana should have delivered it. The guard then revealed to her that her father, Rodrigo Borgia, had taken the Cantarella for himself.
