Thyia's Embrace was a chest piece forged by the smiths of Lalaia, a village in Phokis, Greece. It belonged to Thyia, the sister of the village's magistrate Periktione.
During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra received it as a reward after helping to defend the village against the Sons of Xerxes.[1]
