The Thorn Sword was a short sword inspired by the 2017 game Destiny 2.

Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus to include this sword as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]

Description
Aptly referred to as a "Weapon of Sorrow," this evil-looking sword contains a dangerous dose of vicious poison.

Behind the scenes

The weapon shares its name with an exotic hand cannon, which is earned after completing a specific side quest in Destiny 2. However, neither the cannon or its upgraded form have the ability to poison opponents.
