| This article is about the memory in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. You may be looking for the landmark. |
The Yerebatan Cistern was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Ezio Auditore entered an underground cistern located directly underneath the location where Niccolò Polo's old trading post was.
Dialogue
Ezio slid through the tunnel.
- Byzantine Soldier 1: Ti distichia! (What misery!) Do you know how long we've been searching this filthy Cistern?
- Byzantine Soldier 2: I've been here a few weeks.
- Byzantine Soldier 1: Thirteen months! Ever since the Grand Master found that damned key. But he hasn't got a clue what he's doing. All he knows is they're somewhere in the city.
- Byzantine Soldier 2: This is a big city.
- Byzantine Soldier 1: To xero! (I know!) That's what I said.
- Varangian: Back to your posts, aghirtes (bums)!

Ezio arrived at the first room of the underground cistern.
- Templar Captain 1: Look alive, eh? We pay you to watch the doors, not your feet.
Ezio entered another excavation room.
- Guard: I'm sick of this place. I really am. Eight hours of this filth. Apistefto. (Unbelievable.)
- Templar Captain 2: Petros! Make sure we have enough torches for the excavation. I am tired of stumbling around in the dark.
Ezio arrived at the last excavation room.
- Soldier: Where is he?
- Templar Captain 3: There! In the corner! I saw something. Get reinforcements! This is an attack!
After assassinating the correct Templar captain, Ezio entered a hallway, where he used his Eagle Sense to find the hidden passage where a Masyaf Key was held.
Outcome
Ezio retrieved one of the keys to Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's library.
