Thatch was the pet dog of Edward, Tessa, Jennifer Scott, and Haytham Kenway. He was named after the pirate Edward Thatch, the old friend of Edward Kenway. Thatch's throat was slit by attackers during the assault on the Kenway Mansion in 1735.
