Terrence O'Connor was a British lieutenant who fought in World War I.
Biography
In April 1916, Terrence wrote a letter to his sister Emma, detailing his experiences in the war. In it, he noted that his platoon had marched for over twelve miles, reaching an old trench before being bombarded with German artillery shells. Terrence survived the ordeal, allowing his letter to reach his sister back home in the United Kingdom.[1]
The letter was later recovered by the Assassin Lydia Frye in London and after the end of the war, Terrence eventually returned home.[1]
