The Temple of Sobek was a large temple complex home to the cult of Sobek, located in Krokodilopolis in the Faiyum Oasis.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay, Bayek, travelled to the temple, where he assassinated Sehetep, a corrupted priest who worked with soldiers serving under Berenike, the Nomarch of Faiyum, to increase offerings to the temple.[1]
