Temple of Hera in Olympia

The Temple of Hera was a temple dedicated to the goddess Hera, located in the Sanctuary of Olympia, Elis.

The Heraia games were named after the goddess; every four years, sixteen Elean women in charge of organizing the games would weave a new veil for the goddess and place it on display in the temple.[1]
