Temple of Hera in Olympia

The Temple of Hera was a temple located in Olympia, Elis, that was dedicated to Hera, the goddess of women, marriage, and childbirth in Greek mythology.

The Heraia games were named after her; every four years, sixteen Elean women in charge of organizing the games would weave a new veil for the goddess and place it on display in the temple.[1]
