IIRC, smthg in Dawn of Ragnarök suggests it's the navigational stone mentioned in the podcast? Also takes a massive yellow crystal form to open Vault of Ancients

Sunstone

The Sunstone was a mineral used as a light projection material to open Isu vaults and chambers.

History

In the Isu Era, sunstones were configured and mounted on certain mechanisms to project and aim light beams, which were used to open chambers and vaults across the Nine Realms, especially in Ásgarðr,[1] and Svartálfaheimr.[2] [3]

In the Viking age, some of these sunstone and their respective devices remained active, such as the Isu vault pedestal found in the Cave of Gold on the Isle of Skye.[4]

Behind the scenes

The texture of the sunstones, despite its shape, appear to be green and smooth.
