The Summer of Love was a 1967 cultural movement in San Francisco, where thousands of young people gathered to celebrate peace, love, music, and counterculture. It became a symbol of the hippie movement, promoting free expression, anti-war ideals, and alternative lifestyles.[1] In November 2013, after analyzing the Sample 17 Project extracted from Desmond Miles, the Abstergo Entertainment Project Supervisor, Melanie Lemay sent out an email thread with a list of possible time periods for their next project. Miles' had a descendant through the matrilineal line that participated in the movement.[2]
