A stink bomb with fuse casing

A stink bomb is a form of diversionary explosive that covers victims in a foul odor, repelling all who come too close.

History

In the early 1500s, the Italian Assassins' Mentor Ezio Auditore learned how to craft and use stink bombs. The Ottoman Brotherhood had found them to be useful for separating a marked target from innocent crowds, and the bombs could be made using any shell and gunpowder type combined with skunk oil.[1]
