Not uknown anymore - so the in-game copy allegedly is made of the verse adaptations composed by Socrates as he was imprisoned and waited for death. Needless to say that'd be fascinating, but impossible!

Socrates (470/469 BCE – 399 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy. He was the teacher of Plato.

During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze retrieved a copy of Aesop's Fables in Constantinople which was attributed to Socrates.
