The Smuggler (real name: Lia de Russo) is a multiplayer character in
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
She carries a unique version of the hidden blade, with the blade extending from the top of her forearm, instead of the orthodox blade below the wrist.
Unique Moves
Throat Surgery (Low Profile, Back)
The Smuggler keeps her target still by grabbing their arm after she does a small spin around them, before stabbing upwardly into the crevice underneath the jaw.
Panic Attack (Low Profile, Front)
The Smuggler walks up to her victim from the front and grabs their shoulder. Then she releases her blade, crouches down and takes the opportunity to stab her target in the neck and up into their brain.
Barreling Thrust (High Profile, Front)
The Smuggler stabs her target in the stomach, and momentarily lifts them up, unbalancing them and making them spin through the air, collapsing in a heap on the floor afterward.
Pouncing Piercer (High Profile, Back)
The Smuggler runs up to her target and leaps onto him/her from behind. She then releases her hidden blade and stabs them in the back, forcing the blade into their heart, before pulling it out brutally.
The Deep Incision (Bench Kill)
The Smuggler pulls the target up off of the bench and to the side with her blade, before brutally yanking it free, slashing them across the chest and letting them go, their body falling to the floor.
Terminal Velocity (Aerial Kill)
The Smuggler jumps from a rooftop onto her target, releasing her hidden blade in mid-air, and stabs her victim under the arm, the blade piercing their heart.
Customization
Colors:
- Basic: Dark Green
- Extra 1: Faded Black
- Extra 2: Gray
- Extra 3: White
Gear:
- Advanced: Added fancy, white, long-sleeved undershirt.
The Smuggler's unique hidden blade - Superior: Added circular adornment on top of chest, added plate greaves.
- Elite: Extended skirt, added miniature cape over long cape, added extra design on chest guard.

Trivia
- In the PS3 beta, she was unlocked when the player had reached Level 17. In the actual game, she is available from Level 1.
- She shares similar kills with the Prowler (Bench Kill) and the Dama Rossa (Low Profile, Front).
