Behind the scenes

Skrofnung, a sword in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, shares a similar name with the blade allegedly wielded by the Danish king Hrólfr Kraki. According to legend, it was known for being imbued with the spirits of Kraki's 12 berserkr bodyguards, giving a supernatural sharpness that is hinted at in the weapon's in-game description.[2]
