Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye (786–873), born Sigurd Ragnarsson, was a Norse Viking warrior and king of Denmark.

Biography

When his father, Ragnar Lodbrok was killed by King Aella of Northumbria, Sigurd and his brothers Halfdan, Ivarr the Boneless, Ubba, and Björn Ironside plotted their revenge.[1]

Legacy

Sigurd and his brothers were mentioned by Halfdan in 876 to Eivor Varinsdottir as he reflected on his lost brothers.[1]
