This article is about Ragnar Lothbrok's military siege of Paris in 845. For other uses, see the Siege in 885-886 or the Siege in 1429.
The Siege of Paris of 845 was the culmination of a Viking invasion of West Francia. The Viking forces were led by Ragnar Lothbrok.
Jarl Sten Stensson participated in the siege and fought under Ragnar, a fact he recalled to his two brothers; Ulf and Bjorn, some twenty years later.[1]
