This article is about Ragnar Lothbrok's military siege of Paris in 845. For other uses, see Siege of Paris (885–886) or Siege of Paris (1429).
The Siege of Paris of 845 was the culmination of a Viking invasion of West Francia. The Viking forces were led by Ragnar Lothbrok.
Jarl Sten Stensson participated in the siege and fought under Ragnar, a fact he recalled to his two brothers; Ulf and Bjorn, some twenty years later.[1]
