The Siege of Dapur was the siege of the Syrian city of Dapur by the Egyptian army of Ramesses II against the Hittite Empire in 1269 BCE.
The battle was depicted in the pharaoh's vision of the afterlife and was visited by the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa in 38 BCE. That year, on the request of Ramesses's wife, Nefertari, Bayek travelled the site and freed the Bas of various soldiers that were held captive.
