Ardgal mac Conaill (died 520) was a King of Uisneach who reigned until his death in 520. He was the son of Conall mac Néill and the grandson of Niall of the Nine Hostages.
Along with his brother Fergus, Ardgal inherited from his father a figurine which served as a key to the personal shield of Cú Chulainn.[1]
Ardgal died in 520 after being killed by his cousin Muirchertach mac Muiredaig at the Battle of Detna. He was then buried along with the figurine in a tomb in Meath, Ireland.[1]
