Shah Jahan, also called Shah Naha (1592–1666), was the Emperor of India from 1628 to 1658,[1] and the one responsible for the creation of the Taj Mahal in Agra.[2]
Shah Jahan placed the Koh-i-Noor, a powerful Piece of Eden, into the ornate Peacock Throne in Delhi, where it remained until Nāder Shāh sacked both cities and took the stone back to Persia.[2]
