The Highlands is a historic region of Scotland. The area is very sparsely populated, with many mountain ranges dominating the region, and includes the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis. The Highlands are known for their distinct clan-based culture and dialect of English (known as "Highland English").
At some point in his past, the Templar Simon Hathaway went hiking in the Highlands and climbed Ben Navis.[1]
