San Marco's Secret was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Ezio explored the Basilica San Marco in search of the Assassin's Tomb hidden inside.
After successfully solving four puzzles that were activated by switches on the Basilica's floor, the floor's mosaic came to form the Assassin insignia. The insignia then lowered down into the floor, revealing a secret room that contained the tomb of the Egyptian Assassin Amunet.
Outcome
Ezio retrieved one of the six Assassin seals needed to unlock the Armor of Altaïr in Monteriggioni's Sanctuary, stored beneath the Villa Auditore.
