The Rusty Mycenaean Armor was a chestpiece from a set of armor used by ancient Mycenaean warriors.
By the time of the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was hidden in a chest in the temple of the Charites in Orchomenos, where it stayed until the Spartan misthios Kassandra retrieved it for Eppie. The armor was a in a heavy state of disrepair, as the Mycenaean techniques of forging had been lost to the ages.[1] The old rusty set was then sacrificed to produced a restored set.[2]
