Sir Robert Townsend Farquhar, 1st Baronet was a British merchant, Member of Parliament and colonial governor.
He was the 1st Governor of Mauritius from December 1810 to May 1823.[1] By 1825, Farquhar had become one of the original homeowners of a house in Richmond Terrace.[2]
