Restless Ghost was a tavern on the outskirts of Boston.
On 12 January 1774, the Templar Grand Master Haytham Kenway gathered the members of the Colonial Rite—Charles Lee, Benjamin Church, Thomas Hickey, William Johnson, and John Pitcairn—in the tavern for their first meeting in over fifteen years. There, the group discussed how they could turn the nascent American Revolution into something to best serve their goal of controlling the British Empire's former colonies.[1]
