Repton is a village and civil parsh in Derbyshire, England. During the 9th century, the town was part of Ledecestrescire and was occupied by the Great Heathen Army led by Ivarr the Boneless and Ubba Ragnarsson, sons of the late Ragnar Lodbrok. The Viking Sigurd Styrbjornson traveled to the town to seek an alliance against Burgred of Mercia.[1]
