The Ravensthorpe bureau was a Hidden Ones base of operations in England located within the settlement of Ravensthorpe. It was set up by Hytham after being built by ally and Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir in 873. This bureau happened to be the first bureau in four centuries in England, after the fall of the Roman Empire.[1] The bureau was located in southern Ledecestrescire of Mercia and constructed after Eivor and Sigurd Styrbjornsson relocated to England for a better life in 873. Inside the bureau, the Hidden Ones acolyte, Hytham, had numerous scrolls and entailed missions of targets of the Order of the Ancients to Eivor. To combat the Order's reign in England, Hytham often received letters from a "Poor Fellow-Soldier of Christ, who relayed information of key targets in the cities, such as Lunden, Jorvik, and Wincestre. Thus, throughout the 870s, Eivor defeated the Order and all of its members in England and gave all the Order medallions to Hytham.[2] Also, Eivor recovered the codex pages of the six fallen bureaus of England and gave them to Hytham as well.[3]
