Races are side missions done by Ezio where he has to clear all of the "Gates" in a given time limit in order to succeed the challenge given to him usually by Thieves. There are 6 Races within the game. Races are unlocked by completing the mission Nightcap.
San Gimignano Dash

Florentine Sprint
- Location: Florence
- Time Limit: 1:30
- Number of Gates: 14
Romagna Hustle
- Location: Romagna
- Time Limit: 4:20
- Number of Gates: 30
Venetian Rush
- Location: Venice
- Time Limit: 3:00
- Number of Gates: 22
San Marco Scuttle
- Location: Florence
- Time Limit: 3:00
- Number of Gates: 32
Horseplay
- Location: Romagna
- Time Limit: 2:10
- Number of Gates: 27
