The Piramide Cestia (English: Pyramid of Cestius) is one of the locations in Rome featured in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Next to the Pyramid is the entrance to the Catacombe di Roma, a Lair of Romulus.
History
Inspired by the Egyptian Pyramids, construction on the Piramide Cestia began in 18 BC, and the was finished in 12 BC as a tomb for Cauis Cestius, a magistrate and member of one of the four great religious corporations at Rome.
Trivia
- The Pyramid can be bought as a Landmark by Ezio, and it counts towards the rebuilding of Rome.
- It is steeper than the Pyramids of Giza, as its construction plans were based on incorrect drawings of the Great Pyramids.
- The Pyramid can be bought as a territory in Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy.
